  • History

First developed by samurai swordsmiths in the 1600s, it was used to decorate the hilts and sheaths of blades - a symbol of honor, craftsmanship, and quiet power. No two Mokume pieces are ever the same. Each one carries its own fingerprint - a wearable signature of individuality. What was first used to adorn swords is now used to express your unique identity.

  • How is it Made?

We stack two different alloys then fuse them together. After they are successfully fused, we are able to hammer, twist and roll out the billet. This process can take a couple days depending on the thickness. Once the desired wire thickness is reached, we are able to create the Cuban links using traditional methods

  • What makes it Unique?

No Mokume pattern will be exactly alike, just like wood grain or your fingerprint. Unique by default, due to the extensive work that is needed to stretch out the billet, it is impossible to replicate every move the craftsman makes. Due to this, every pattern is slightly different. Single metal cuban links all look the same, it's time your jewelry be as unique as you.
